International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is the specialized cancer agency of the World Health Organization, specialised in cancer prevention.

The Agency is responsible for promoting international collaboration in cancer research. It collaborates in more than 140 countries with governments; international organizations, including WHO; stakeholders from the private and public sectors; and researchers from various disciplines, such as laboratory sciences, bioinformatics, biostatistics, and epidemiology.
