On June 12-15, 2023, Eric Solary (INSERM) and Javier Carmona (VHIO), were invited to the annual European Association for Cancer Research conference to present the UNCAN.eu project.
Eric Solary joined the session “Joint EACR – EACS – Molecular Oncology Sessions: Challenges of Data Management and Sharing from Translational Cancer Research” on Wednesday 14th with a talk on: “UNCAN.eu, Towards the Creation of a European Federated Cancer Research Data Hub”, and Javier Carmona joined the Director Panel on Thursday 15th, and presented a talk entitled “UNCAN.eu: A European Initiative to UNderstand CANcer: Identification of future priorities in European cancer research”. The panel included directors of European cancer research institutes, including René Medema (NKI) and Elisabete Weiderpass (also a member of the Cancer Mission Board).
Lastly, also a poster was submitted describing the UNCAN project (abstract EACR23-1421, page 477).
